How big is the Motta Naluns ski resort?

The family-friendly Motta Naluns ski resort offers around 70 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes, a snow park and extensive freeride terrain. The valley station of the cable car is located right behind the Hotel Bellaval — the quickest way from your room to the slopes.

Is a trip up the mountain included for non-skiers in winter?

Yes. Every guest at the Hotel Bellaval receives one free return trip a day in winter on the Motta Naluns gondola lift or the Ftan-Prui chairlift — ideal for winter walks, sledge rides or a stop for refreshments on the mountain terrace.

Is there a ski storage room and a ski service?

Yes. Our lockable ski room is heated and equipped with a ski boot warmer and ski racks, all under CCTV surveillance. For ski servicing, repairs or hire, you’ll find the Intersport Heinrich sports shop at the valley station of the mountain railway, directly behind the hotel.

What options are there for hikers in the summer?

A network of hiking trails stretching 1,500 kilometres winds its way around Scuol — ranging from routes suitable for pushchairs to high-altitude alpine treks. At reception, you can pick up hiking maps, route descriptions and tips on alpine and mountain huts.

Is the hotel suitable for mountain bikers as well?

Yes. Right behind the hotel, at the valley station of the Motta-Naluns cable car, there is a bike shop with a workshop and repair service. We offer a bike garage with CCTV surveillance and a shoe dryer, detailed advice on bike routes including elevation profiles, as well as various bike packages.
