What would a vacation be without culinary delights? We at Hotel Bellaval attach great importance to pampering our guests with only the best products.  In our restaurant we serve not only specialties from the Engadine, but also excellent home-style Swiss as well as international treats for the palate. Our chef creates true culinary delights, every day - you as a Bellaval guest can enjoy this with the included Bellaval-Verwöhnpension!

The pleasure starts already in the morning with the extensive breakfast buffet, continues with the "Z'vieri-Buffet" in the afternoon (during the winter season) and reaches its climax with the 5-course menu in the evening with a vegetarian alternative. The Bellaval kitchen crew is happy to cater to individual wishes, intolerances and allergies and also prepares gluten-free and lactose-free dishes.

Our tip: Try Capuns, a typical Engadine specialty, during your next stay.  A traditional Graubünden dish in which a wide variety of ingredients are wrapped in chard leaves and served with a fine sauce. Again, choose between a version with meat or vegetarian with vegetables. The pizokel pan, a popular pastry from Graubünden, is served at the Bellaval restaurant with Engadine house sausage and topped with Graubünden mountain cheese. Bon appetit!

WITH A VIEW OF THE ENGADIN MOUNTAINS

In the restaurant and the parlors of the Hotel Bellaval you can dine exquisitely. Whether you enjoy the evening 5-course menu in the course of the pampering board or prefer to dine à la carte: Convivial evenings with delicious delicacies are guaranteed. Of course, such an evening also includes a wine recommendation from hotel chef Thomas Schulze. He is a self-confessed wine lover and keeps many a secret in the hotel's own wine cellar, which he is happy to share with his guests.

Meal times:

  • Breakfast: 07:00 - 10:00 a.m.
  • À la carte - Large menu: 11:30 - 14:00 and 18.00 - 21.30
  • À la carte - Small menu: 14.00 - 18.00 hrs
  • Half board dinner (in the restaurant): 18.30 - 20.00
Panorama dining room: place for culinary hours

In the cozy new dining room, guests enjoy not only the culinary temptations in the course of the Verwöhnpension, but also the magnificent panorama of the surrounding mountains. Due to the open design of the hall has a particularly atmospheric ambience and invites after the meal to linger over a good glass of wine.

Fondue room "Clünas

In the new rustic Fondue-Stübli our guests experience real Swiss hospitality and conviviality. Here you can spend many a relaxing evening in a merry circle. Among other things, traditional Swiss cheese fondue or four different types of meat are served on the "hot stone" of the table grill. Table reservations are essential, as we have very limited seating capacity in the Fondu-Stübli! Please let us know when booking if you would like to eat cheese fondue, raclette or hot stone, as we can only serve these dishes in the Fondue-Stübli. Thank you for your understanding.

Pure sun on our terrace

On our sun terrace in front of the hotel, guests can fully enjoy the beautiful view of the Engadine Dolomites. The comfortable seating invites you to relax and the delicious aperitif here awakens anticipation for the upcoming multi-course menu.

The "Arvenstübli": Coziness at its best

As soon as you enter the Arvenstüblis, a homely atmosphere arises. It smells of the healthy wood, the atmosphere is particularly cozy. Here, home-style dishes from the Engadine are served. The Arvenstübli is part of our à la carte restaurant.

"Jäger-Stübli": our jewel

The "Jäger-Stübli" with its 200 year old Swiss stone pine wood is a special gem of the Hotel Bellaval. The warm tiled stove gives the room an additional homey flair. Here you can listen to the stories of the host Thomas Schulze about old times and let the vacation day pass in review.

Après-ski and party atmosphere in the "Viva Bar".

Après-ski is simply part of skiing. Pure life is celebrated in our hotel's own après-ski bar. It is the meeting point after the fun on the slopes in Scuol. Here you can find delicious cocktails like the "Mungapfurz", smoky whisky and refreshing gin. To your health and have fun!

Enjoyment variety in Swiss style in our "Stüblis"

Hotel Bellaval guests always feel particularly at home in the rustic "Jagd-Stübli". Your host Thomas and Susann Schulze is a great wine lover and connoisseur. He enjoys tasting one or two fine wines from the extensive range with his guests.

Especially in winter, the "Fondue-Stübli" invites guests to relax after an active day on the ski slopes of Motta-Naluns or the numerous signposted winter hiking routes: The Bellaval kitchen delights here with traditional raclette, cheese fondue or fondue chinoise. This is how the vacation days come to an enjoyable end in typical Swiss style.
