## About Hotel Bellaval

The hotel in Scuol, with its newly renovated roof, in the popular Swiss holiday region of the Engadin, presents itself with a traditional restaurant, cosy, light-filled rooms, a dining room with a breathtaking panoramic view, and an in-house wellness oasis.

The success story began in 1913 with the "Hotel Bahnhöfli". More than a century later, Hotel Bellaval – meaning "beautiful valley" – lives up to its name. The hotel has been run for many years by the owner family Susann & Thomas Schulze. Although the traditional 3-star hotel has undergone repeated modernisation, it has lost none of the charm of its era: the lounge and dining rooms are furnished with fragrant Swiss stone pine (Arve) wood, some of it over 200 years old, which is proven to have a calming effect and slow the heart rate.

Snuggling into a cosy bed after an eventful day in the mountains of the Engadin is simply wonderful! All rooms are furnished in fragrant Swiss stone pine wood, which is proven to slow the heart rate and have a calming effect. ## Culinary

The restaurant at Hotel Bellaval serves Engadin specialities as well as hearty Swiss and international dishes. Guests enjoy these as part of the included full-board pension: an extensive breakfast buffet, a "Z'vieri" afternoon buffet (in winter), and a 5-course dinner menu with a vegetarian option in the evening. Gluten-free and lactose-free dishes are prepared on request. Engadin specialities such as Capuns (wrapped in chard leaves) and the Pizokel pan with Engadin sausage and Graubünden mountain cheese are among the culinary highlights.

## Wellness

The hotel's own wellness area features an indoor pool with a massage jet, a sauna landscape, massage and beauty treatments, and an infrared cabin. Nearby is the "Bogn Engiadina Scuol" thermal spa: fed by a total of 20 mineral water springs in the region, it offers drinking cures and carbonic mineral baths, plus a Roman-Irish bath and a therapy and wellness centre.

## Nature & Active

A stay at Hotel Bellaval means a holiday right in the heart of nature. The Swiss National Park – Switzerland's only national park – delights with its unique flora and fauna (including ibex and marmots) and is a real highlight for guests of all ages. Guided hikes, leisurely walks and mountain-bike tours on well-marked trails can all be started right from the hotel's front door. During their stay, guests receive a free travel pass for all public transport in the Lower Engadin.

In winter, the hotel sits directly at the Motta-Naluns cable car – every guest receives a free round trip, which benefits non-skiers too (e.g. for a fun sledging day with the kids).
